Winworks Mobile 2.1

Winworks Mobile is an iOS application tailored for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch, acting as a mobile extension of the Winworks® AutoShop automotive repair management system. This application enables users to scan vehicle identification number (VIN) barcodes on-site, providing immediate access to service history and recommendations if the vehicle has been previously serviced at the shop. This feature allows service advisors to make informed suggestions for necessary repairs.

In addition to its VIN scanning capabilities, Winworks Mobile facilitates the initiation of work orders directly from the mobile device. Users can select standard tasks and seamlessly add parts and labor, ensuring a comprehensive and efficient workflow. The application also permits updates to customer and vehicle information, which can be uploaded to the main Winworks AutoShop system upon completion. Upon entering the shop, users will find the newly created work order readily available in the Lookup window for assignment to technicians, scheduling, and printing.

One of the key advantages of Winworks Mobile is its streamlined workflow: after selecting the vehicle, users can thoroughly review service history and recommendations. A work order can then be initiated, with the option to import multiple tasks or manually enter parts and labor as needed. Finally, this newly generated work order can be uploaded to the main system for further processing.

It is important to note that Winworks Mobile requires iOS 8.0 or later and necessitates a device equipped with auto-focus capabilities (such as iPhone, iPod Touch 5, iPad Mini, 3rd Gen iPad or newer) for optimal VIN scanning functionality.
